"My sheep hear my voice and will follow none other" but some sheep get cranky and refuse to listen; then they walk away from God's fellowship and start living like the world does. These are my stubborn sheep:
J. C. (won't keep fellowship with the believers in God's church)
Debbie (J.C.'s wife and thinks this is all old fashion and out of date)
Jeramey (not save and lives like it. He is my grandson)
Carson (saved a long time ago but won't fellowship with other believers either. His wife is a Holy Spirit filled believer and is praying for his return)
Also, the little town in northern Missouri where they live really needs a revival of the best kind. Milan, Mo.
*Michele & husband John; 2 young sons Mike & Nick not being raised in church *Matt (questionable - has mild autism)
*Aunt Nancy - very gullible, follows the latest trend *Rich's family (questionable) *Kristi and atheist/anthropologist husband Paul; 2 young daughters Emma & Tess not being raised in church plus Paul's 4 older children all raised to believe in Darwinism, etc. *Tara & husband Ken - young son Lucas not being raised in church
*my own brother Jason & wife Kim (I'd say he's saved but not producing much fruit, not sure about her) + their young son Isaac
*Uncle John & daughter Hayley
My mom's side of the family:
*Grandpa Robert (the one I've mentioned)
*Uncle Bob/Aunt Wilma & their 3 kids, Brianne, Brian, Brenden
*Aunt Regina - divorced my uncle Alan, living like a teenager their 4 children: Jess & husband Ron Ben & wife Jocelyn Aaron Rachel all raised Catholic, but no depth of faith and certainly no spiritual role models
my husband's family:
*his brother Dave and live-in girlfriend Sharon
*his cousin Lynn & her fiance Brian
Wow, that seems like a lot of lost sheep, right in my own backyard! Sad thing is my dad's family was all raised in a very church-centered home, but some of his siblings and nearly all my cousins have left that part of our family heritage behind.
